Rock My World

Rock My World

It’s challenge time over at All Dressed Up Digi Stamps!

Join us over on the All Dressed Up Facebook page for Septembers FB Challenge. This month the theme is We Love Our Boys. I chose to use Rock My World from the Younger Boys section. How will you show “We Love Our Boys” and what stamp will you use?? On with the show and tell…

I tried to break my layering rectangle go-to, and used some hex shapes and my round music die to shake things up!

I used two pops of red to balance out the teal and blue of his clothes. Did you notice the tiny bit of texture I added to the toes of his sneakers?

Honey Bee gems on the music die helped balance the card.

Watering Can

Watering Can

A very versatile card by, changing the sentiment or using NONE!

Lili of the Valley (Lotv) is our sponsor June 6th – 8th over at Passionate Paper Creations and Friends by Rhea. Make sure to pop over  (join if you have not) and be on the lookout for specials from the Sponsor! I was lucky enough to color up Watering Can. They have lots of fun images, buzz on over and check them out. Now on with the show and tell….

This can be a very large image depending on how you print it out. I decided to make mine big, making it the focal point of the card.

My stamp did not come with a sentiment, so I found a nicely worded one from MFT. You can always use a card to thank someone for their kindness!

The centers of all the large flowers were done with Nuvo Vintage Drops in Black Road. I love the vintage line because it dries to a matte finish. That way the centers did not totally overwhelm the flowers. On the tiny pink flowers I used my black glaze pen to create the centers.
