Oddball Cinderella

Oddball Cinderella

Because every month NEEDS an Oddball!

Hi All! Coming at you today with another Oddball. I have to tell you, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way this came out. I Personally think its because of the combo of Copic and Olo Markers. I am enjoying the addition of colors adding the Olos have given me. Has anyone else been using the Olos? I know several designer friends are and we all seem to like them! They are pretty economical also. You can buy them in in premade sets at Spellbinders and there are links for them in my Shopping List. Now, on with the Show & Tell…

Using a deckle edge on some of the layers gave my shabby Cinderella a more shabby feel !

Morning Dew on the glass slipper and Grey Mist on the skull add a bit of shine and dimension.

The mouse in her pocket is colored to match her hair!

Oddball with a lock & key

#NancyAndJillColorTogether

Hey All! That is right, Nancy and I are back at it this month. Nancy is healing from her broken leg. She is primarily working from her bedroom so we decided an actual stamp instead of a digital would be better this month. (She has now gotten a bit more mobile!! and is working from her studio again) Luckily for us we both had this cute kinda Valentine image from Stamping Bella. I really struggled with the hair on this one. I even had her skirt all colored and messed up the hair. So back to the drawing board I went …..head first! Hahahah, see what I did there? Now, on with the Show & Tell…

I love Nancy’s version! She kept to more traditional colors. I am so impressed that we actually shaded her skirt differently. Check out Nancy’s Blog post here: Rowhouse Greetings

Some days my desk looks like I am playing paper dolls!

The skulls, the big heart, her eyelids and the little hearts on her shoes all have Nuvo drops on them. The skulls and the small hearts are Morning Dew, the large heart is Silver Moondust and her eyelids are enchanting pink!

Her skirt is Olo Marker, I really love the vibrancy of their colors. They really are a great addition to my Copics.

The rhinestones I used were clear, I used my darkest pink OLO MARKER to coordinate them with her dress.
