Under The Sea

Under The Sea

A sweet little turtle swimming by with a message.

Hi All! If you read my post for Cafe on the 7th you know I have been in the Florida Keys. So what better to color than a cute turtle! Let me apologize also because I believe this set is retired. It does not show up on C.C. Designs website. I did find it on an obscure store I found when I googled the set. I did add that link in the shopping list, keep in mind I know nothing about this store I just wanted to give you an option. 🙂 Now, on with the Show & Tell…

I used some distress resist spray and ink blended the lower left corner and up along the edge. I used distress oxide in three colors with my Rabbit Hole mini blender to create the fun green plant, pairing it with some cut from vellum.

Silver metallic thread behind the turtle adds some dimension and texture.

Along with the bubbles created by the distress resist I added small clear dew drops to create all the air bubbles.

Flowery Gnome

Flowery Gnome

An oldie, but a goodie!

Hi All! Today I have a gnome card for you. I have colored this image many, many times. It is a fun and easy image to work with. I also like that by changing the sentiment you can use it for lots of different occasions! My card today I made into an Anniversary card. If you follow me on Facebook, you will know that we have some Super Fantastic neighbors. This card is for our next door neighbors who celebrated their FIRST Anniversary in September. One of the best decisions we made when wanting to move was to pick this community. Now, on with the show and tell…

Wanting the pop of pink behind the scallops, I ink blended with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide using my Bitty Blending Brush from The Rabbit Hole Designs!

I used two different sentiment sets! One from Stamping Bella and a retired one from Sugar Pea Designs.

A couple of sparkly sequins rounded out my card!
