Hey local friends, 

Saturday is the third Saturday of the month! You know what that means……YOU need to join us at Photoscraps for DEMO DAY! 

I have two super fun cards for you. The first uses Sunny Studios Oceans of Joy and the second is Pink & Main Oh Crab!  

These cards are all prepped for you to stamp your sentiment and color your images. With me, you will be doing some ink blending as well as heat embossing! 
 
My other Demo friends Nancy, Karen, Linda and Gina  have some super cards and some scrapbook layouts for you also. 
 
If you complete 6 demos, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your regular priced purchases for the day. Not including special orders, Demo Day tickets, gift certificates or other special sale offers.

Up In The Air…….

Whew!  


I kind of feel like my life has been Up In The Air. (pun totally intended) We had friends visiting for the weekend, to help me pull off a surprise Birthday party for my husband who turns 60 later this month. We managed to completely surprise him and had a fabulous time. Then, as you know Sunday morning I found out I had been accepted onto the Papercraft Business Challenge Design Team! 

While I am not officially your inspiration for this Month’s Challenge, I was asked to make a card for this Month’s theme! I have been sitting on this adorable stamp set from Mama Elephant called Flying With Friends.  Which also happens to be on sale right now.

I was so bummed to find out that awesome gingham paper from My Favorite Things called Gingham Galore is no longer available. 😠 I guess I have been hoarding it a little too long.

My clouds were all die cut from Stampin’ Up! Shimmery White card stock. It brings just a hint of sparkle. 

I have been working on controlling my stipple technique. Do any of you have trouble with it? I really struggle with getting them a consistent size and not too blobby! But hey, that is why we practice.  What technique do you need to practice? 


I finished off by adding some light blue dew drops to my clouds. I have a huge love affair with dew drops. What embellishment is your go to?
