A Sweet Bouquet…

For an old friend.

I have a childhood friend who recently found out her Mom has cancer. So her life has been turned a bit upside down at the moment. I wanted to create a really cheerful and bright card to send her. Pink & Main’s Sweet Bouquet was a perfect choice.

These are the cutest bouquets! The flowers in them remind me of Mandalas. This set does come with coordinating dies. I did not purchase them, but my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125 cut them out nicely.

I wanted to show you the difference of just Copic Markers and Copic with Prismacolor pencil. This picture is my bouquet colored with Copic’s. Looks good just like this right?

Here is my bouquet with additional shading using the Prismacolor pencils, along with dots and stippling with a white gelly roll pen.

  • Leaves and Stems: G07, G14, G12
  • Blue Flowers: B28, B24, B32

Love this sweet bouquet (as well as all your others). The difference in coloring and adding colored pencils is remarkable…but so is your coloring. I’m sure this will brighten your friend’s day despite her circumstances.
