Good Afternoon! from chilly Annapolis.
Frozen Fellowship is the name of the stamp set I colored last Thursday in my class at Photoscraps with Nancy Sheads of Row House Greetings. Frozen Fellowship also describes the day, as it was a super cold day with friends!
We started three cards in class, (I had to slip out early to pick up my hubby from the airport) and I have two to show you. Only two, you ask? Yup! I totally screwed one up at home.
I love the classes where we not only practice our copic skills, but ones where we create a background and use fun new products.
The backgrounds on these were done by blending Tim Holtz Distress Oxides to make the gradient blue green shade. We used three colors: Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, and Cracked Pistachio. Blending was done with a Nuvo blending sponge. (For you make-up people, they look just like those foam rubber foundation blenders!) The first base was then stamped with Hero Arts Hand Drawn Snowflake Bold stamp and Versamark, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. My goofed up one was also done that way. My second card was done by using Tailored Expressions Snow Flurry stencil and Nuvo Glimmer paste in Moonstone. Fun stuff!
I take classes with Nancy at both Photoscraps in Eldersburg, MD and The Queen’s Ink in Savage, MD. if you are in the area and are interested these are both awesome stores.
Jill, they look great. I love they are so colorful They warm my heart on a cold day . . . ha. ha. ha.
Wished I lived closer to MD.
Have a blessed day.
🙂
Even though I had a sneak peek of these, seeing them here makes them that much more wonderful. Your skills are awesome!
