Dragonfly Dreams & Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits!

Ok!
That was as close as I could get to turning myself into a dragonfly!
“Stamp like a dragonfly, sting like a bee”
It’s almost the same as Muhammad Ali’s motto,
but MUCH craftier!

As always the people designing for the catalog came up with fantastic ideas!

As you know, I love all things bees and butterflies and dragonflys!
SO I can tell you, this set was a huge hit with me.
This is also one of those sets the allows you to go “all out” or “super simple”.
the possibilities are ENDLESS………
I heat embossed the dragonfly in black, then used ink pads and the Aqua Painter to watercolor the wings.  For dimension I added some Silver Metallic Thread, some retired enamel dots and Rhinestone Basic Jewels. I just loved how crisp and simple this turned out.

Brusho, Brusho, Brusho! for the cool splatter background. The paper that looks oddly pinkish here is actually Shimmery White Cardstock, with a touch of Basic Pearl Jewels, for a sophisticated touch.

This one was stamped and heat embossed and watercolored just like the first one……….

With some Wink of Stella, for a sparkly winner.

Bees!  Layered using the Detailed Dragonfly thinlits. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with White Stampin Emboss Powder. I also added an array of old embellishments for fun.

for stopping by.
